Akshay Kumar is the new Grasim brand ambassador  ( June '6,2007, The Hindustan Times)

Grasim Suiting of the Aditya Birla Group, has signed on Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador.

The company says it needs a brand ambassador who can make a fashion statement and at the same time command mass appeal. It believes that the Bollywood actor fits well with the requirement. Akshay Ku mar will be the ambassador for the mother brand, Grasim Suit ing, as well as all sub-brands. New TV print and outdoor , campaigns, customised market ing programmes at the retail level and channel partner pro grammes are on the anvil.
