HLL launches Fair & Lovely variant  ( November '20,2001, HBL)

Fair & Lovely has launched a dark circle remover cream to fade away dark circles under the eyes. The company claims that by using the cream, dark circles will fade away in just six weeks.

The cream's Nutrisome system enriched with a combination of natural cucumber extracts apparently removes dry, dark and aged skin cells. Developed by Hindustan Lever Research Centre, Fair & Lovely dark circle remover cream defeats the awake-all-night look of puffiness and under eye circles. Packaged in a 15 gm tube, it is made for easy application and is available across the nation for Rs 55.

According to Sangeeta Pendurkar, Marketing Manager, (Skin - India), HLL, ``Research shows that under eye darkening is manifested among 70 per cent women and is the third most important problem after dark skin and oily skin.

Fair & Lovely dark circle remover creme works in a natural manner without any bleach making it suitable for all skin types. Its active principle have been extensively tested across the country and consumers have experienced a dramatic reduction in the intensity of the dark circles.''
