Mirinda to hold arts workshop  ( November '7,2000, HBL)

PEPSI Foods Ltd, which has positioned itself all along on the cricket and youth platforms, has extended its gamut of associations to the arts and culture now. Pepsi Foods' carbonated, orange-flavoured soft drink brand, Mirinda, has associated itself with a series of craftsmen across the country.

The idea is to promote art and crafts among schools in Delhi, according to Pepsi officials. Mirinda, along with the Bangalore-based India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), is organising a workshop titled `celebrating creativity and the child', to be held in Delhi shortly.

The four-day workshop will involve children narrating and dramatising stories around toys, designing leather puppets, composing songs, and so on. According to Ms Vibha Rishi, Executive Director (Marketing), Pepsi Foods, the workshop is aimed at bringing to the fore latent creative qualities among children.
