Airtel Broadband & Telephone services has become the first service provider in the country to launch the Ring Back Tone service for fixed-line customers. Airtel will market this service as “Hello Tunes” and is available to customers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

The Hello Tune service comes with a rental of just Rs 30 per month. The service is also backed with a wide range of content including the latest Hindi and English songs priced at Rs 15 per download with a nominal access charge of Rs 3 per minute.

The Hello Tunes service is being made available in 18 different languages some of them being Kannada, Tamil, Telegu, English, Hindi and Punjabi. Customers can choose from a bouquet of 10,000 songs including popular music, devotional songs, English songs and natural sounds.

Hello Tunes is a personalized music service where the caller hears songs and other sound clips instead of the traditional switchboard “ring-ring” tone. The service has the unique ability to differentiate various call conditions like call waiting, user busy and call forwarding.
