Elegant sets up shop in Nagpur  ( March '2,2004, HBL)

ELEGANT Publicities, a Chennai-headquartered advertising agency, which only recently completed 50 years in business, has set up its branch office in Nagpur.

The agency, which earned revenues of Rs 7 crore last year and expects to add marginally to it this fiscal, already has its offices in Delhi and Kolkata. Its Kolkata office predominantly services the advertising needs of companies in the coal sector. Its Delhi office, which services clients such as Life Insurance Corporation of India, is likely to be expanded soon, according to the agency's release.

Elegant, which began its operations in 1954 as an agency catering to film publicity, has over the years diversified its operations. Although its Chennai unit still has quite a lot of film production houses as its clients, Elegant has been able to bag business from public sector undertakings of the State and Government departments.
