Herbertsons relaunches Honey Bee brandy  ( February '8,2001, HBL)

HERBERTSONS Ltd, part of the UB group, has announced the launch of the new look Honey Bee Classic Brandy here on Wednesday. The product will be available in all retail outlets in Andhra Pradesh in a new packaging.

Announcing the launch of the new Honey Bee Classic Brandy, Herbertsons General Manager, Marketing, Mr Debabratha Banerjee, said: ``The new packaging for Honey Bee has been developed following a lot of investment in brand research. Consumer tests have shown a strong preference for the new packaging with most consumers perceiving the new look as being more contemporary and attractive.''

According to Mr Banerjee, Andhra Pradesh was one of the major brandy markets in the country and the company was confident that the new packaging would get a favourable response. He said the it might also result in Honey Bee becoming the brandy of preference in the State. Herbertsons' current brand portfolio includes four brands in whisky, three in white spirits and one in brandy.

The whisky brands include Bagpiper, Bagpiper Gold-Premium, President's Pride and Regal Crest Whisky. Brands in the white spirits segment includes Romanov Vodka, Royal Treasure White Rum and High Society Gin.
